Брейн-ринг “What do you know about English-speaking countries?”
Мета: Ознайомити з цікавими фактами про англомовні країни, вчити знаходити потрібну
інформацію в тексті, формувати навички читання та розуміння текстів, розширювати
кругозір учнів;
розвивати навички критичного мислення, пам’ять, увагу, уміння працювати в команді;
виховувати культуру спілкування.
Хід заходу
- Good morning, boys and girls, good morning guests! We are glad to see you at the competition “What do you know about English-speaking countries”. You will learn some interesting facts about different countries and show us your knowledge of these countries.
- So, let’s start! We have two teams. And you know the rules – the team, which knows the answer, shows its symbol and can answer. Every right answer gives the team one point. Our judge(s) will count the points. After the competition you’ll have some prizes.
- But first we’ll watch a video with some interesting places in different English-speaking countries. It will help you to brush up your knowledge about them.
